Pros and cons of Xiangqi 中國象棋 app for iPhone and iPad

Xiangqi 中國象棋 app good for

Pretty good app in itself and good price. However, I played 2 highest-level games (moved first, and second) against another Chinese chess app and this app lost both games.
I have purchased and tested every xiangqi app available and this one is the best combination of well designed interface and strong AI available. My only request would be to add the ability to set up a position. Great work!
Game has basic features but strong AI. The piece movement is not animated like other games, making the game play not as refined or smooth. But it is good value when price is factored in.
When I move the piece, it sounds twice. I really think the first sound is not necessary. For the hint option, I dont think you need to really move it. You can just show the arrow or line where it suggests to move because the player may have different thinking.
Likes: Large chess piece. Simple interface. Strong AI. Switch settings in mid game. Fast graphics. No observable bugs. Could improve by adding: Easier levels. I couldnt even win level 1. Library of classic battles. Good deal at 99 cents. I tried the $3.99 game before this one. It closes itself randomly, and broke Internet connection.
However I wish clicking on the lightbulb at the bottom will be like a hint button where it would suggest you to move instead of moving it for you. Also at the end of a game it the back button is dissapointingly disabled so you cannot replay the game. I also wish that there was a forward button in addition to the back button.

Some bad moments

This game doesnt even have a menus hat displays new game or any other options... Its like I just took a dollar, handed it to the developer of this game, and having said developer hand me back literal feces
After computer beats me, game was stuck. It wont restart or go to new game. I want to delete this game so badly. Waste of $1!
